This paper represents the Socio-Cultural Impact of Sulay-Basya Festival among its Local Residents. The concept of the socio-cultural impact of festivals on local residents presents different kind of pictures. Festivals applied variety of socio-cultural impacts on local-residents: Ethnicity, Knowledge, Religious Beliefs, Tradition, and Values. Although supportive evidence exists, contradictions related to costs, diverse resident perceptions, and potential environmental implications emphasize the complexity of festival impacts. These impacts are context-dependent, shaped by factors such as age, duration of residence, sex, social class, time span of participation in the festival, and type of community stakeholder. The researchers, applied a quantitative descriptive research design. The respondents in study were 397 local-residents who were voluntarily available during the conduct of the study. The non-probability, accidental or convenience sampling method was also utilized for ensuring that the respondents were fairly represented. Religious affiliation showed a notable impact, with a significant difference in the type of community stakeholder among different religious groups, suggesting that religious beliefs influence how individuals perceive and engage with local events like the festival. This suggests that religious beliefs have a discernible influence on how individuals perceive and engage with local events like the Sulay-Basya Festival. Therefore, the null hypothesis that there are no significant differences in the socio-cultural impact of the festival among local-residents based on religious affiliation is rejected. It is clear from the observed significant differences that religious beliefs have a significant influence on how people view the world and engage in community activities. This emphasizes how important it is to take religious diversity into account when analyzing community dynamics and participation in cultural events.
