In summary, this study aimed to determine the aspects of tourism planning and development of Tobog, Ooma and Igcondia Beach Resorts in San Joaquin, Iloilo by assessing the resort’s facilities, transportation, tourist behavior and attitude/behavior of the tourists and human resources, financial planning and resorts operations of the staffs. An overall rating was determined and also ratings were categorized according to the respondents' demographic profile in terms of age, sex, civil status, and employment status that might be variables in affecting the responses. This type of study was quantitative research and used a descriptive research design. The sample size of this study was 389 tourists and staff members in Tobog, Ooma, and Igcondia Beach Resorts. A questionnaire was given to the respondents. The sample size was determined through on-probability sampling method. The results of the study indicated a clear differentiation in the assessment ratings among Tobog Beach Resort, Ooma, and Igcondia Beach Resorts across various aspects of tourism development. Tobog Beach Resort emerged with the highest overall assessment rating, reflecting its excellence in terms of facility, transportation, tourist behavior, and staff attitude/behavior. On the other hand, Ooma and Igcondia Beach Resorts attained higher levels of customer satisfaction in areas such as human resources, financial planning, and operations. Thus, the researchers recommended that Ooma and Igcondia beach resorts must prioritize the enhancement of their existing amenities and facilities they can elevate the overall experience for their guests and stay ahead in the highly competitive hospitality industry. Improving facilities and amenities are crucial as it directly impacts the satisfaction and comfort of visitors. In terms of transportation, Ooma Beach Resort had the lowest rating. A well-constructed road not only ensures ease of access but also promotes safety, convenience, and efficiency in transportation, enabling people to reach the beach effortlessly and without encountering unnecessary obstacles or delays. In addition, since the Tobog Beach Resort received the lowest overall rating in the tourism planning assessment, highlighting the need for immediate action. This includes equipping the staff with necessary skills and a positive attitude, nurturing a supportive and safe work environment, and implementing sound financial planning practices. By implementing these recommendations, the resort can strive towards improvement, attract more satisfied customers, and ultimately enhance its standing within the tourism industry.
