Abstract
This study is a descriptive correlational research that examines the analysis of the financing strategies adopted by coffee shops in Iloilo City and its influence on their survivability. The study involved a total enumeration of all coffee shops in the seven districts of Iloilo City: namely, City Proper, Jaro, La Paz, Lapuz, Mandurriao, Molo, and Villa Arevalo, comprising a population of ninety-five coffee shops respondents. The data collected for the study were interpreted and analyzed using both inferential and descriptive statistical approaches. The findings demonstrate that majority of coffee shop owners in Iloilo City take cautious measures when it comes to business funding since they rely on personal financing. Furthermore, analysis indicates that the type of financing approach—debt, personal, or a combination of the two—does not substantially affect the viability of coffee shops, indicating that financial strategy by itself is not a determining factor in the success of a business. The resulting conclusions have substantial effects for coffee businesses as they implement efficient financing strategies that align with their
ability to survive.
