Attitude of financial management students in relation to their intentions to COVID-19 vaccination

Abstract

This research study was conducted to determine the attitude of financial management students in relation to their intentions to COVID19 Vaccination due to the reason that we are facing a pandemic and the civilians have since been subjected to getting vaccinated against the virus as well as getting booster shots for health safety and many other reasons. In this study, the researchers want to determine the attitude of the financial management students from Central Philippine University towards the COVID19 vaccination as well as what their intentions are when getting the COVID19 vaccination jab. A total of two hundred and twenty-three (223) respondents took part in the survey, two hundred and twenty-three (223) being the sample size. The researchers randomly selected respondents from all year/level of the Financial Management Department. The researchers used the descriptive method in analyzing the data. Surveys created and created by researchers were used to gather the required information from respondents. Surveys designed by researchers were used to ensure compelling data from respondents. Researchers organize, calculate, analyze, and interpret data using a statistical tool consisting of weighted mean, frequency counts, percentages, standard deviations, t-tests, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Pearson's r. Draw conclusions and recommend research results. By gender, the majority of respondents (85.20%) were female and the rest (14.80%) were male. As for age, it ranges from 18 to 25 years old, with 21 years old being the most common. With regards to year/level, the respondents ranged from First to Fourth year/level, Third year/level being the biggest proportion (39.00 percent). The results of the study demonstrated that the respondents had Favorable attitude. They are favorable that COVID19 vaccine will be useful in protecting themselves from the COVID19 infection. Meanwhile, there was no significant difference in the attitude of financial management students to COVID19 vaccination in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor when respondents are taken as a whole and classified according to the respondents' profile.
