| dc.description.abstract | This research paper evaluate the best practices used and the contributions of the local community and the LGU in Marine and Mangrove management, and protection in Silagon Mangrove Eco-park. Case study were used for further explaining, describing and investigating events or phenomena and their natural settings. Respondents were chosen purposively based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria set by the researchers. Data we are gathered through semi-structured interview to explore the views and experiences of the respondents. Thematic analysis were used to analyze and search across the data set for repeated patterns to identify and for interpretation during the code selection and theme development process. The data were carefully examined by the researchers to identify recurring themes, ideas and patterns. The findings indicates that community involvement and support from the LGU plays a big role in managing and protecting the mangroves. Regulations are properly implemented and everyone is expected to adhere to. Furthermore, supplying tourists with accessible amenities and entertainment in the eco-park will give tourists a sense of fulfillment. In conclusion, with proper managing, maintaining and monitoring Silagon Mangrove Eco-park is one of the many things that the local community can benefit from. The eco-park is not only a lovely place to visit, but it is also an important component of our natural environment that needs to be protected by the combined efforts of many people. Responsible tourism an attempt to reforest mangroves are also encouraged. | en_US |
