The Korean drama series was segmented according to places to make the study easier for the analysis. It was found out that the Korean drama series has its own set of values that could be present in every person. The theme on the other hand, is also very common in society. This study showed that there are similarities between the Korean and Filipino culture. The similarities of the two cultures in terms of beliefs, practices, and attitudes were discussed. In this Koreanovela series the values displayed by each character shows the inner attitude of a person or an individual and how one manages things. This study concluded that the values in the drama series are very important since they show the personality of each character. Values which are observed in the Korean drama series are similar to that of Filipinos in many ways. The characters in the Koreanovela are very effective and convincing in portraying their role. Each of the character has an impact that anybody can relate to. Without the presence of their different characterizations in the story as protagonist, antagonist and foil, the story will not be as interesting as it would be.
