Abstract
This study covers thirteen (13) government recognized CPBC church-related preschools as determined by accessibility, church-based, willingness of the school to have partnership with CPU and with existing school building and existing government permit among others. The principals, teachers, church administrators and pastors were the respondents. The researchers applied purposive sampling method and implemented total enumeration in processing the data. Major areas covered in the survey questionnaire were school management, faculty and staff, curriculum and instructions, physical plant and facilities. The church, through the pastor or church council has great influence in school management. There is a top need for schools to own a lot, which area conforms to Department of Education provision. The teachers need training on financial management, effective communication, time and effective classroom management. The study helped establish the needs of the CPBC church-related preschools and may become the starting point for networking and outreach opportunities. To elevate the quality of service that CPBC church-related preschools are offering, improvement of resources in the area of salaries, library and laboratory resources and human resource development has to be addressed.
