Abstract
The primary concern of the church since her establishment at the beginning in New Testament times, has been the fulfilment of her mission for the peoples of the earth in every age. The church has taken up the functions which were originally assigned to the people of Israel, the servant of God, and has tried to accomplish to the best of her ability what she has been called on to do.
In recent years, the church in West Malaysia has begun to realize her role as a servant people of God, and is preparing herself for the great task. Being herself cared for by many foreign missionary societies in the past, it is of great importance for her to learn from the experience of the servant Israel, that she may be able to carry out her task with the expectancy that God will bring results, and that peoples may be reconciled to God, so that God’s name will be praised and adored by nations.
