Abstract
The Municipality of Barotac Nuevo in Iloilo was known as the Football Capital of the Philippines by which people of this town are very passionate when it comes to the sport football as well as producing the best and the brightest in Philippine football. But, despite being the Football Capital of the country the municipality doesn’t have a football stadium that has the facilities to host football matches in the national level. This study was conceptualized by the Municipal Planning and Development Office of Barotac Nuevo as part of the development of the municipality in order to produce quality football players and boost its tourism.

This study aimed at planning an AFC standard football stadium. The proposed structure is composed of a standard football field, individually seated viewing stands, locker and shower rooms for both athletes and officials, as well as press room for media coverage. It also has a commercial area for food stands to occupy during events. All the lighting fixtures in the structure are solar powered. The design for the structure was referred by the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP) 2015, American Concrete Institute (ACI) building code for all the concrete works, and Allowable Strength Design (ASD) for steel. The proposed AFC standard football stadium has a total area of 50,000 square meters, with an estimated capacity of 10,000 seats. The estimated project duration is 157 days with an approximate cost of Php 509,755,969.95. The project will be funded by the Municipality of Barotac Nuevo.
