This study titled "English Matters: An Interactive Module to Enhance Grade 10 Students Reading Comprehension” was a developmental research that utilized the Input-Process-Output (I-P-O) model to develop the interactive module in order to enhance students’ reading comprehension skills as an output. The inputs included a validated interview guide to determine the content of the interactive module, DepEd curriculum guide, and Most Essential Learning Competencies. Further, a focus group interview was used intended only for grade 10 teachers to initiate and gather data to create an interactive module. After the interview with the English teachers, the researchers analyzed and interpreted the data using thematic analysis. The content of the developed interactive module were all drawn on the major themes and subthemes generated based on the responses of the participants. After the creation of the interactive module, a validated questionnaire was given to expert English teachers to evaluate the effectiveness of the interactive module. The experts marked the mechanics used in the developed interactive module as excellent. The developed interactive module was composed of lessons generated from the unit 1 to 4 of the grade 10 English lessons from the Most Essential Learning Competencies and DepEd Curriculum guide. Learning materials such as textbooks, poems, and stories as suggested by the participants were incorporated to enhance the reading comprehension skills of the students. The results showed that the expectations of the expert English teachers in module was met by the developed interactive module.en_US
