Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the causes why the number of vehicular accidents is steadily increasing despite the prohibitions and restrictions imposed by Law in order to lessen if not eradicate vehicular accidents in the country. Furthermore, this study aimed to find out the primary causes of these vehicular accidents and the possible amendments that must be imposed in order for the Law to compensate and be responsive to the rising demand and technological advancements in the field of transportation. Descriptive Analysis was obtained using convenience sampling or accidental sampling. Results of the study showed that the primary cause of vehicular accidents in the country is Over Speeding which constitutes 55% of the total number of vehicular accidents followed Human Error which constitutes 25% of the total number of vehicular accidents, and finally by Mechanical Error which constitutes 20% of the total number of vehicular accidents.
