It is with deep and great sadness that the Board of Trustees and the entire Central Philippine University community mourn the passing of DR. JUANITO M. ACANTO who faithfully served as University President for 12 years (from 1996 to 2008) and member of the Board of Trustees for 41 years and its Chairman from 1992 to 1993. He was also a faculty member and eventually the Dean of the CPU College of Law from 1993 to 1997 and member of the CPU Corporation for 53 years.
