dc.description.abstract | Many people who visit the congregation of which I am a part in Jerusalem are interested to discover that there are Israeli Jews present who believe in Jesus. Although they are not many, they are among an increasing number of Jews who believe in Jesus. When one meets them and discovers their intense feelings about their Jewish identity, one has the feeling at times of being back in the days which are described for us in the Acts of the Apostles. It is good to remember that at the beginning, the large majority of believers and followers of Jesus were Jews. In the early chapters of Acts, it is evident that the early believers were observant Jews who continued to keep the commandments and the worship of their fathers. | en_US |
