This Central Philippine University Work Student Study Program Management Information and Short Messaging Service System is for the use of the Work Student Study Program Office in order to provide top-notch services.
CPU Work Student Study Program Management Information and Short Messaging Service System intends to deliver the profiling of the work students’ information, assigning schedule for work student, broadcasting messages for work students’ important announcement and meeting, monitoring of programs, project and activities and generating reports. The system includes the use of biometrics for the purpose of the work students’ identification in catering their log-in and log-out.
The methodology used is the Modified Waterfall Model System which has the following stages: feasibility, analysis, designs, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
The system for the CPU Work Student Study Program Management Information and Short Messaging Service System helped improve and develop the manual process of their current system, thus, by providing a user friendly interface tool.
In conclusion, the study was able to attain the objectives based on the features which has been included in the system like having database storage of the work students’ account, notification module that checks submitted requirements, an inquiry which provides assistance in retrieving records, a DTR that correctly records the attendance, a SMS which transmit imperative agendas or meetings, and a report module that will show work students’ status and important information.
