CPU Elementary Guidance Office management information system

Abstract

This study was conducted to develop a system for CPU Elementary Guidance Office which will help the guidance counselor. The system was highly conceptualized, specifically designed, and carefully tested to the Elementary department needs and Guidance counselor’s satisfaction.

Basically, there are three types of users that can access to the system first the Main Guidance Counselor, second the Elementary Guidance Counselor and lastly the Teacher. The Guidance Counselor has the full access of the system and the Elementary Guidance Counselor has a limited access to the system which can check the profile of the pupils and updates the profile, in the teachers account they can refers only if the pupils having a case or it will undergoes for counselling.

The system’s front end was developed through PHP (Personal Home Page), while its back end was MySQL Virtual Studio. Windows 10 was used as the main operating system during the development until implementation.

It was concluded that the system was able to meet the objective with the development of CPU Elementary School Guidance Information System. The system is deemed capable of fulfilling its intended functionalities.
