Abraham Maslow is an American psychologist which created the motivational hierarchy of the needs for humans. At the top of the pyramid is self-actualization, on which, is a type of motivation of a person to realize his full potential of acquiring such fulfillment. This portfolio development project aims to produce a two dimensional (2D) animated film which conveys the concept of self-actualization and to create a relatable story that could encourage and motivate its viewers, especially its target audience, the Filipino millennials. The animation was created using the graphic software of Adobe Animate, Premier, and After Effects. The project gained positive reviews from selected CPU college students whom the movie was shown to. The researchers concluded that this thesis project has successfully portrayed the concept of self-actualization to the millennials through the developed two dimensional animation film and that the quality of the video verifies the capabilities of the researchers in producing an animated output.en_US
