Abstract

The Iloilo Medical Society Web Portal uses some functions that are related to the doctor’s profile. The concepts were implemented as follows: Profiling, Registration, Search, Event Management, Generate Reports, Updating, and Evaluation. By creating different modules for the doctors and administrator, tasks such as generate reports, updating their accounts, and certification of good standing. Administrators can access the monitoring, and approving of records of the list of doctor’s profile used in the system. In the course of conducting the study and the development of the system, the proponents made use of PHP and MySQL, which were the tools used in the development of the system. Adobe Photoshop CS6 was used in designing the GUI. Through the system, doctors are able to maintain an online site and automatically update their profile from time to time. The administrator can easily manage these requirements and assign doctors based on their preferences. Evaluation can also be done automatically. For the development of this system, creating a web application and using SMS is also considered.
