Web based membership and accreditation system for Association of Theological Education in Southeast Asia (ATESEA)
Abstract
The web-based membership and accreditation system is an online network system. It is developed specifically for the Asian Theological Education in South-east Asia organization. The system will address the unavailability of an online system wherein members can apply for online membership application and can pay their online payment through PayPal. The administrator can also store financial data, post announcements and events and can post member school rating after the accreditation visit online.
Members will be updated of their activities within the organization giving them an online experience through a custom made easy-to-use graphical interface and for them to utilize the materials posted and downloaded by the administrator.
The development of the system used the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Model. System’s development consisted of four phases namely the following: Requirements Planning, User Design, Construction and Cutover phase.
The proponents’ recommends for the further enhancement of the system. The system must incorporate higher technology like using higher security software, global communication tools; increase the number of supported services offered and other similar technologies.
