Equipment management system for Central Philippine University

Abstract

Inventory maintenance today make the company encodes their data easily. To apply this concept with the inventory process of Central Philippine University (CPU) with their inventory maintenance issues, CPU also aims to use the technology particularly a computerized inventory system to usher the user easy access and make their works faster. That is why the Equipment Management System for Central Philippine University is proposed. The project Equipment Management System for Central Philippine University has problems in its current system where all transactions and encoding equipment are done manually by the property custodian. With the aid of the fast growing technology, these problems encountered by the university were solved. Through interviews and talks, the proponents were able to meet the requirements of the project design. Using a user-friendly screen interface, clients are provided with a fast, accurate and effective information and transaction processing system. Equipment Management System for CPU is an LAN based system that is capable of providing information about the equipment status, through this system, the user could transact with the system easily and efficiently. Also, the university will not be left behind; instead it could compete with the growing world of technology. Thus, the objectives of the project are met.
