摘要
This study is primarily conducted to determine the feasibility of enacting a statute on male/ men domestic violence. The effects are both physical and psychological. One in five men in the Philippines between the ages of 15 and 49 years has experienced domestic violence. Police statistics indicate that 1,078 cases of violence against men were reported in 2015, up from 2,224 incidents the previous year. The feasibility of enacting male domestic violence is amenable because of the prevalence of male violence as shown by the previous results. Moreover, by enacting such statute, the State will ensure peace in the community by preventing male domestic violence.

The method used in this study was qualitative research. Qualitative Research is primarily exploratory research. It is used to gain an understanding of underlying reasons, opinions, and motivations. It provides insights into the problem or helps to develop ideas or hypotheses.

A statute pertaining to male domestic violence be enacted so as to lessen cases of abused partners for the betterment of the community. The government must set-up rehabilitation centers for victims of male domestic violence. The society must help and support legally and socially.
