A researcher-made instrument on English proficiency was conducted to 288 respondents from six different courses of VMA Global College. Respondents were selected using Stratified Random Sampling Procedure to proportionate sampling size. While the students’ English Proficiency Test performance significantly varies as to their personal characteristics. In the same vein, the Students’ English Placement Test Performance and the College English Grades Performance are significantly related to age, sex, course, and High School Grade in English except in the year level. However, significant relationship exists between English Proficiency Test Performance and students’ personal characteristics such as sex, course, year level, and High School Grade in English except xii in age. Both the Students’ English Placement Test Performance and College English Grades Performance are significantly related to English Proficiency Test Performance. Moreover, the English Placement Test Performance and the College English Grades Performance are predictors of students’ English Proficiency Test Performance that means the higher the students’ performance in English Placement Test and College English Grades, the higher their performance will be in English Proficiency Test.en_US
