Young people today are confronted with different issues in life that make their journey difficult. Issues such as curiosity and sexual pressure lead them to become vulnerable to temptation, this research work aimed to study Paul’s teaching on sexual practices in I Corinthians 6:9-20 and Romans 1:24-27 to specifically find out his Christian views on irresponsible sexual practice namely fornication and homosexuality and its implication on the work of Values Education Teachers of High School who played the role of counselors to students who are struggling with this problems. It utilized the method that included the analytical, exegetical, and historical presentation of Paul's teaching on fornication and homosexuality focused more on the analysis of the content of the Biblical passage on its original text. Paul contradicted the view of people in Corinth and Rome who had a wrong concept of true sexual freedom. True freedom for him is freedom in Christ that does not give a license to a person to do whatever he/she wants to even though it will already exploit others and one’s self. Homosexuality for Paul represents the sinfulness of human being for it distorts God created order. This teaching suggests that Values Education Teachers can be agents of hope, love and transformation playing their role as Christian counselors to students who come for help.en_US
