Abstract
This study aimed to determine the prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) among faculty members of the College of Nursing at a private university in Iloilo City. Using a descriptive correlational research design, the study explored the relationship between several factors, including genetic history, stress exposure level, and lifestyle such as diet, exercise, smoking status, alcohol intake, and the prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus among the faculty members of a College of Nursing at a private university in Iloilo City. Data were gathered from 82 faculty members selected through random sampling specifically draw lots method. The questionnaires given were content validated and adapted from different authors. These include Perceived Stress Test by Levenstein et al. and Physical Activity Rating Scale by Jackson et al. Descriptive statistics (mean, frequency, percentage and tables) and inferential statistics (Pearson’s r, Cramer’s V) were used, set at a 0.05 level of significance. Among the variables, the researchers found out that stress exposure level, diet, smoking engagement, and alcohol intake has no bearing on the prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus among faculty members, thus, it means there is no relationship between them. Only genetic history and exercise adherence has bearing on the prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes

Mellitus.
