dc.description.abstractTourism contributes towards the complete growth and development of a municipality. To afford specific examples: First, by bringing numerous economic values and benefits. Second, by helping a certain municipality’s brand value, image, and identity. Facilities are essential in supporting the tourism industry of a locality. Pandan is a major tourist destination for its natural wonders that cater to those who love nature and outdoor activities. Pandan is known for its famous Malumpati Cold Spring, Bugang River and white-sand beaches. Bariw leaves are abundant in Pandan that is use to make handicrafts like mats, trays, bags and other novelty products. The proposed tourism building has a total floor area of 120 square meters (15m x 8 m) situated inside the Pandan Public Terminal. The ground floor will function as the reception area where tourist packages and promotion of tourist spots can be found. Also food products and handicrafts can be found in the ground floor. Second floor will function as the multi-purpose room where trainings and seminars can be held and office for the Department of Tourism of Pandan. It was designed with large glass windows to allow maximum use of natural light. The plans were then finalized after ensuring that the design has conformed to the standards of NSCP 2015. The total estimated project cost is at about Php 5,282,630.00 through the help of the local government along with the assistance of Department of Tourism as source of funds.
