| dc.description.abstract | This study assessed the environmental literacy and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) competence of community leaders in Aklan to develop a Technology-Assisted Green Management Module aimed at enhancing sustainability leadership. Using the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the study systematically examined leaders’ knowledge and skills. Surveys, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) identified gaps in environmental literacy and SDG competence, highlighting disparities based on age, sex, and geography. Thematic analysis revealed that while leaders had some awareness, their practical application of sustainability practices was limited, particularly among younger and marginalized groups. The module was designed using the KAP Framework (Knowledge, Attitudes, Practices) to address these gaps. Experts in environmental education and technology-based learning ensured its quality, cultural relevance, and adaptability. Implementation involved pre and post-tests, facebook-based learning, and capacity-building seminars. Statistical analysis showed significant improvements in environmental knowledge, attitudes, and sustainability practices. Evaluation through surveys, observations, and interviews confirmed the module’s effectiveness but highlighted areas for enhancement, such as emotional engagement and digital interactivity. A strong positive correlation between environmental literacy and SDG competence was found, emphasizing the importance of sustainability education. The study recommends multi-stakeholder collaboration among government agencies, NGOs, educational institutions, and community leaders to integrate SDGs into local policies and strengthen sustainability leadership. Digital learning tools like the Green Management Module play a vital role in fostering long-term environmental resilience and policy integration. | en_US |
