| dc.description.abstract | An integrated transport terminal is an integral part of every locality, especially in progressive municipalities like Mambusao. Essentially, a transport hub optimizes mobility, resulting in a more connected community. As for the Municipality of Mambusao, the absence of a transport terminal facility, unorganized traffic operations, absence of tourist info, and illegal parking were the identified main issues that led to this proposal. Thus, a two-storey integrated transport terminal is proposed to be constructed at Brgy. Bula, Mambusao, Capiz. Primarily, the structure was designed using the provisions of the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP 2015) and the Ultimate Strength Design (USD). In addition, the study consists of architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire designs. The traffic flow, construction specifications, cost estimates, and work schedules were also included in this proposal. Moreover, the use of water harvester, solar electrical lighting, and hybrid energy were the green building features incorporated into the structure's design. The proposed project has an area of 1 hectare and its construction is expected to last for 301 working days with an estimated cost of Php 101,535,391.81. The building is also designed to be inclusive to all individuals, mainly those commuters and drivers who much need it. Once the structure is fully functional, it is recommended to install safety and security devices should be carried out, such as perimeter fences, CCTV's, and other essential security measures. | en_US |
