| dc.description.abstract | The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) was established to serve as a platform for developing young leaders and building a governing body capable of addressing youth problems and issues while including them in activities that promote community development. Despite not having a building of their own, the SK Municipal Federation of Sta. Barbara which is composed of 60 barangays, has initiated numerous events. However, there is a need for a place to conduct meetings, keep records, store equipment, and promote youth development. Thus, this project study features a Session Hall, LYDO & SK Office, and a Multi Media Library, incorporating the green building technologies such as the natural lighting through the use of large windows and rainwater harvesting by utilizing cisterns. Included are the architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire exit plans according to the provisions of the various codes. Also incorporated are the technical specifications, cost estimates, and work schedules. The 310.98 sq. m. structure has an estimated cost of P 8,158,069.81 expected to be completed for 160 working days. This proposed project will be funded by the Province of Iloilo. Once the structure is fully functional, it is recommended to provide safety and security measures such as constructing perimeter fences and installing CCTVs. | en_US |
