Delay in government transactions is one of the challenges most people encounter in government facilities. The municipality of Santa Barbara in the province of Iloilo is one of the municipalities with underdeveloped municipal hall. It is overcrowded with offices and lacks enough space to cater volume of clients which in turn, causes delays in transaction. Thus, this study was conducted to address the issue on transaction delays in the municipal hall of Santa Barbara, by providing an expansion facility that promises to improve the flow of transaction. The project is a two-storey annex building with a roof deck and has a total floor area of 1797.13 sq. m. It incorporated the offices located outside the municipal hall and included a function room to cater the meetings and events of the municipality. The design included a bridge that connects the municipal hall and annex building to improve mobility of clients. Structural design was developed using Ultimate Strength Design method and provisions from National Structural Code of the Philippines 2015 and National Building Code of the Philippines. Philippine Electrical Code and Plumbing Code of the Philippines were utilized for electrical and plumbing plans. Technical design and calculations were made using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Excel. Rainwater harvesting system was integrated in the design as a green technology. The proposed project has an estimated cost of P54, 053, 705. 59 and is expected to be completed in 240 days. The project will be funded by the local government of Santa Barbara. It is recommended that proper waste management and design for parking spaces be provided.en_US
