dc.description.abstract | The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the Emergency Response Center (ERC) are responsible for developing strategies, carrying out initiatives, and facilitating the seamless integration of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation management efforts. The existing MDRRMO and ERC building currently faces spatial constraints. To address this limitation, the proposed design consists of a two-story structure to effectively house the entire workforce and specialized staff, thereby optimizing their role in serving the municipality of Alimodian. This proposed construction project is intended for Brgy. Poblacion, Alimodian, Iloilo. Furthermore, detailed plans for the planned structure's architecture, structural, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical, and electronics have been completed. This study also includes construction specifications, cost estimates, and work schedules. Green technology features include low-emissivity glass, an allocated space on the rooftop for solar panels, and on the underground water supply of deepwell. The MDRRMO Building had a total floor area of 565.81 sq. m. for two floors and a lot area of 256 sq. m. The estimated cost of construction is PHP 14,183,942.82, and it is expected to be completed in 240 days. Inclusion of solar panels and deep well motor pump is strongly recommended. | en_US |
