This study aimed to find out the Biblical meaning of the images in the Book of Song of Solomon written by Solomon, the wisest king ever lived. These explicitly identified the images, determined the meanings of the images, and identified the number of images found in the 8 chapters of the book. Qualitative observation using summative content analysis was used to identify the parts of the chapters that present images while, Bible-hermeneutics was used as a guide to understand, translate, and explain the meaning of the Scripture text. The study revealed that there were a total of 58 images found and among them is the pomegranate which is found in verse 3 of chapter 4 and verse 7 of chapter 6; foxes which is found in verse 15 of the chapter 2; death which is found in verse 6 of chapter 8. The Biblical meaning through the use of Hermeneutics also revealed the meaning of the following symbols: pomegranate, the woman’s temple; foxes, obstacles of the lovers love; two young roes, healthy breasts of the woman. The results denote that the Bible is full of images and it is useful and important to understand the message God wants to convey in his words.en_US
