This descriptive study on the “Level of Perceptions of Parents and Teachers towards K-to-12 Program in Libertad Central School S.Y. 2015-2016” was conducted to determine the level of perception of the parents and teachers of the said institution above in terms of preparation, curriculum and implementation of the K-to-12 Program. The respondents were all teachers of Libertad Central School and parents whose child or children are enrolled in the said school. They were randomly selected using the Lottery Method of Simple Random Sampling. The variables considered were sex, identification, age and highest educational attainment. The instrument used was a researcher-made questionnaire that passed the validation and reliability procedure. The gathered data were encoded and processed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22 set at the 0.5 level of significance. Results were analyzed using the descriptive and inferential analysis. Statistical tool used were mean and standard deviation, ANNOVA and Post-hoc test. The study revealed that the parents and teachers of Libertad Central School strongly disagree to K- to- 12 curriculum in terms of preparation which means they are not supportive towards K -to-12 program; the respondents were neutral in terms of curriculum and program implementation, which means they were undecided towards K- to- 12 program. These results imply that both teachers and parents believe that the K - to - 12 Program may cure what ails the Philippine’s Basic Education System; but is uncertain that the additional years will result in better-educated, competitive, and employable graduates especially when considering different aspects of the program as to preparation, curriculum and implementation.en_US
