It is with deep and great sadness that the Board of Trustees and the entire Central Philippine University community mourn the passing of DR. JUANITO M. ACANTO who faithfully served as the University President for 12 years (from 1996-2008) and member of the Board of Trustees for 41 years and its Chairman from 1992-1993. He was also a faculty member and eventually the Dean of the CPU College of Law from 1993-1997 and member of the CPU Corporation for 53 years.
