dc.description.abstract | This study is entitled “Economic Enterprise Management System for the Municipality of San Jose de Buenavista Province of Antique”. The system focused on the following objectives: a payment module that will use tablet computer with thermal printer, thereby eliminating the need to manually issue an official receipt, to create a module report that will generate daily report, thereby negating the chance for collectors to under-declare their collection for the day, to create a module that will have human intervention only in the input of data upon actual collection. Selected processes like generating reports and profiling will be automatically done by the system, thus reducing the likelihood of manual error, a module that will automatically update the individual tenant’s record upon validation of payment, and a profiling module that will show personal information of tenant, business characteristics, economic-related information and pending payments. The methodology used for the development of the system is Modified Waterfall System Development Life Cycle which has the following stages: planning, requirements, design, coding and debugging, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The result showed that the proposed Economic Enterprise Management System would innovate the traditional way of collecting payments, and process it into an efficient, user-friendly interface. As a whole, the proposed system is a great help in collecting tenants daily payments compared to the current system that shows many flaws and errors. | en_US |
