dc.description.abstract | The Computerized Maintenance Management System for the Power System Office of Central Philippine University is developed to aid the office with a fast and convenient way to process and transact their processes. The system mainly offers services that would allow the recording of the profiles of each air conditioned units and provides a means to the user for searching, generation of reports, scheduling and tracking of requests that were rendered and to be rendered. The system has a central database on which stores data that evolves on the CMMS. One of the main tasks of the system is to accept the requests of each department for services in relation to the air conditioned units that were installed on each unit. As this is one of the main features, the scheduling of the staff are also aligned to be able to give in to all the request that were sent off into the system. As the study was developed, the mode of methodology used is the modified waterfall model. This has been the basis of the series of tasks that were involved during the developmental process. The method chosen was tendered to be able to achieve the high quality of developing the requirements of the system. As each phase has been tackled on a step by step process, each of the objectives were fully complied as to be able to finish and achieve the full developed course of the system proper. With the CMMS at hand, the Power System Office finds an easier way of handling the different requests and process each transaction which intended an oversatisfactory result. | en_US |
