Introductionen_US
The main concern of this dissertation is to grapple with the ancient Christological question, who Jesus is, in the light of Biblical witness, history, classical Christology and contemporary theologians. A particular emphasis is placed on Haroutunian's theology of "life-together" and from this vantage point the above-mentioned Chris to logical question is viewed. A summary of his book, "God With Us," is given in the following several pages, and this is the basis of our running commentary and critical observation. In searching for the answer to the question, "Who is Jesus?" we consider the much debated doctrine of imago dei. In the prism of imago dei we may see Jesus and the claims he appears to have made, as logical and intelligible. Other ancient Christological problems if viewed in the context of imago dei seem to find a solution.en_US
