Résumé
The proposed system is designed to develop and improve the present system of Mang Inasal Inc. By solving its existing problems, specifically, this study aims to provide an automated system which can process accurate and fast transactions and help lessen human error incurred in manual operations. Mang Inasal Automated Point of Sale System will simplify the process of sales computation, printing of receipts and reports, maintenance of customer information and creating a user friendly interface.

The researchers used the waterfall model as a method in developing the system. The waterfall model is a sequential software development model in which development is seen as flowing steadily downwards through the phases of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance.

The system was developed using Visual Foxpro 8.0. It combines both powerful database management capabilities and sophisticated software development technologies.

The proposed Automated Point of Sale system will cater the needs of Mang Inasal Inc. and designed exclusively based on the company’s specifications.
