dc.description.abstract | The proposed Inventory Management System with Online Supplier’s Profiling of Tinukib focused on the following objectives: development of supplier’s record that stores every data and information about the supplier, development of inventory module that manages all products stocks, returned items and product sales in the Tinukib, development of point-of-sale module that manages the transaction and sales, development of sales report module were all the sales are recorded and stored, development of statistics module that monitors and displays saleable product on a specific time, and development of a web module that allows the Tinukib to widely advertise their products through the internet. The methodology used to develop the system was the iterative life cycle model composes of the stages: Analysis, Specification Building, Design and Development, Coding, and Testing. In this study, the result showed that the proposed Inventory Management System with Online Supplier’s Profiling of Tinukib greatly helped the management of their work. The product inventory was organized and the sales reports were on track. The suppliers could easily view their own product inventory and order requests through the Tinukib website. Based on the conclusion above, the group recommended the installation of the proposed system for Tinukib. Further enhancements could be done in the system function to provide more convenience to the user. | en_US |
