dc.description.abstract | The proponents of the CPUAAI Website version 3.0 desired to enhance the existing system to assist alumni members to communicate easily and help with the different transactions of the CPUAAI administration. The website is basically designed to assist the alumni faculty and members for efficient and convenient transactions and provide updates of news and events. Employing the Task-technology fit (TTF) theory of Goodhue and Thompson (1995) allows measures to address the issues of the current version as using the eight factors of the theory for the study. This theory holds that IT is more likely to have a positive impact on individual performance and be used if the capabilities of the IT match the tasks that the user must perform. The newly developed system by the proponents can perform the following tasks: the alumni members can register and access the website; it updates the latest News and Events of the University and these can be received through SMS and Email notifications; a forum is also added as one of the major features in which they could comment in a post; and a group and chapters module are present as a side feature of the version 3. This project study recommends that future researchers who would do similar project study would benefit from this study for ore improvement. | en_US |
