dc.description.abstractThis paper determined the personal and household profile of the 4Ps beneficiaries in Balete, Aklan. It also aimed to determine their level of well-being in 2015 and at present Further, the study determined the relationships of the personal and household profile to the present level of well-being. This is a descriptive correlation research study. Data were collected from 454 respondents using stratified random sampling and an interview schedule. SPSS was used in data processing and analysis using frequency and percentage distribution for the descriptive analysis and Chi-square test for the inferential analysis. Results revealed that the respondents were female, aged 50 years old and above, married, Roman Catholics, had elementary or high school level of education, unemployed, with no income, have been beneficiaries of 4Ps for 8 years, and were always attending FDS. The respondents households have 5 to 6 members; nuclear living arrangement, with 2 to 3 children, no Senior Citizens and PWDs, with 2 to 3 women members, with at most one working member, earning PHP 8,000.00 and below per month, receiving 4Ps grant amounting to PHP 1,501.00-2,000.00 per month, and a total household income of PHP 5,001.00-10,000.00 per month. The respondents’ educational attainment and personal income have significant relationship with their level of wellbeing. In terms of their household profile, the number of working members, household income from employment, 4Ps grant, and total monthly household income has a significant relationship with their level of well-being. The economic sufficiency level, social adequacy level and level of well-being in 2015 of the respondents have significant relationship with their present level of well-being.en_US
