An analysis of the determinants of family planning volunteer workers' performance in Iloilo City

Abstract

This paper covers survey data obtained in a 1993 study of BSPOs and BHWs in Iloilo City. Survey information is reviewed with particular attention to data that address the issue of factors which have contributed to variation in the performance of BSPOs and BHWs and the observed decline in indicators of FP service delivery in Iloilo City. This diagnostic study aims to provide FP program managers, service providers, and policy makers with data-based information and recommendations useful for program planning and implementation.
