Abstract
This study analyzed the feasibility of enacting an Anti-Political Dynasty Law by critically analyzing the content of Senate Bill No. 2649 and determining the behavior of the electorate for the need of passing such law. The researcher wanted to determine the need of passing the law that prohibits the establishment of Political Dynasty, the lapses of the said senate bill why it is still pending, the factors that hinders its passage and the possible solution of enacting it. The researcher used the content analysis method to attain the objectives of this study. Based on the information gathered, the researcher found out that there is a need of passing the anti-political dynasty law and there is a difficulty in passing the said bill and the same is still pending because of the authority mandated to enact the same could be greatly affected being member of Political Dynasty. However, it was concluded that there is a need to consider the passage of the said bill either through revision or amendment of the constitution or passing a law through a direct participation of the people through initiative and referendum as both allowed by the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
