Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze the stand of the Philippine Government against China in the West Philippine Sea Disputes. The researcher gathered data in the published books, news in print and internet, Supreme Court Decisions and other related laws whether municipal or international to answer the problem posted by the thesis. The researcher discovered the long line of different stands and actions of the Philippine Government, because every President elect of the Philippines has a different platform in resolving the dispute in the West Philippine Sea. Their common ground is to settle the said dispute in the International Court. It was noticed that the Chinese Government is so aggressive in claiming the West Philippine Sea, they even cause the sinking of some fishing boats that stays on the area.
