Аннотации
This study was conducted to analyze the Supreme Court decisions from 2010-2014 on the common grounds for suspension and disbarment of lawyers. The researcher selected fifty-seven (57) samples of suspension and disbarment cases from the entire population of one hundred thirty-three (133) cases to represent the same with a 10% margin of error. Results revealed that the common grounds for suspension and disbarment cases of lawyers from 2010-2014 were inexcusable negligence, gross misconduct, violation of Notarial Law, failure to account money from the client, representing conflicting interests, violation of trust and confidence, violation of Canons 7 and 10, gross immorality, and engaging in the practice of law despite having been suspended by the court.
