Abstract
This study describes the Karen Baptist Convention Rural Mission Work in Myanmar in terms of its history, mission, aim and objectives, programs and activities, and implementation of projects specifically in Toungoo city, Paku Karen Baptist Mission Field.
The survey method was used, supplemented by key informant interviews to collect data to determine specific characteristics of the target area. Structured interview were conducted using one-on-one face to face interview with target respondents. Unstructured interview guide was used for key informants.
The major findings of this research show that profiled that the beneficiaries totally believed the implemented projects improved their family/community situation, enhance community cooperation and participation and improved their quality of life.
Hopefully, this research will help people to understand why rural people suffer and what is being done about it, and also what should be done to improve their condition.
