Abstract
This study was conducted to describe the level of acceptability and need for a Green library for Jakarta Theological Seminary (JTS). It employed a descriptive design which used a one-shot survey questionnaire to gather the necessary data. Convenience sampling technique was employed with a total of 113 respondents from the faculty, staff members, and students of JTS. Frequency counts, relative frequencies, and means were used to analyze the data. The findings of this study revealed that there is high acceptability of the Green Library among the faculty, staff members, and students of JTS. The seminary community desires innovative changes towards improved services and eco-friendly and sustainable library. The physical aspects of the library identified as urgently needed are areas where the library users can study or meet for group discussion as well as that which cater to the needs of PWDs. Hence, the Board of Lecturers, through its President, need to provide full support to this project by strongly recommending to the Yayasan, the highest governing body of JTS, the execution of the Green Library for the seminary
