Résumé
The main purpose of this developmental study was to develop an animated educational video as a learning material for learners and teachers in teaching Bahagi ng Pananalita. The researchers utilized the Input, Process, Output model to achieve a creation of a reliable and effective animated educational video about Bahagi ng Pananalita. Key Informant Interview were done with eight teachers handling Grade 7 learners to determine the content and design of the video. The thematic analysis was used in analyzing the gathered data. The derived themes revealed that the learners have difficulty in learning the parts of speech in Filipino, learning must be stimulating to get their attention, and using an animated video is necessary for effective learning. This implies the need to create instructional material to minimize the difficulties experienced by learners. The parts of the developed video include Pangngalan, Panghalip Pandiwa, Pang-uri, Pang-abay, Pang-ukol, and Pangatnig. The video elements include voice over, background music, and illustrations. The language used was Filipino, the layout was landscape, and the length was 6 minutes and 11 seconds. A researchers-made rating scale was employed to determine the level of acceptability of the animated educational video as a learning material for Grade 7 learners. The results revealed that the video was highly acceptable to be used in teaching Bahagi ng Pananalita. Furthermore, it was effective material that could stimulate learners’ interest and produce high-quality teaching and learning process.
