Some guidelines for a church program to help Christian parents in Rangoon today to fulfill their responsibilities more adequately

Abstract

In Rangoon today, there are many Christian parents who are unable to differentiate their responsibilities, especially, in actual practice, from that of the non-Christian parents. Most Christian parents relate to their children and their environment in a way that is very similar to that of non- Christian parents. So, in Christian homes, we find problems and difficult issues similar to those of the non-Christian homes. So, the basis of the problem of this thesis lies with the parents who need help to be able to know and reflect their faith in bringing up their children in such a way that their children experience what it is to be a child of God and gladly accept this for themselves.

The writer is convinced that until and unless this problem is solved, the case of Christian homes will stand a very little chance; they will not be able to maintain "their uniqueness and fulfil their mission in this world as the 'light' and 'salt' of the earth. And automatically, the church will be affected.
