Résumé
The Software Engineering and Computer Science Website was designed in response to the problems of the Department. Since, there is no current website the teacher’s post their announcement on the bulletin board were there is a possibility that the students may keep it or make some erasure. They also provide course material for the students during classes were it takes time to have it photocopied. Sometimes the student’s leave their projects on teachers table were it may lose or misplaced it.

The study mainly focuses on the posting of announcements, course materials, and submission of assignments, projects, simple reports and laboratory exercises. The website also provides information regarding the department its Vision, Mission. The Software Engineering and Computer Science website aim to make the work done accurately and efficiently so that the users can lessen their time and effort.

The study was done using the following phases such as identifying the problems and objectives, analyzing system needs, designing the system and documenting software. It uses also dataflow diagrams to represent the process of the system. This study follows a typical complex processing which needs to be properly presented and understood by the users.

Different theories and concept were applied in developing the system such as the Web server and the MySQL Server. The development tool or the application software used in developing the system was PHP to further enhance the design and capabilities and MySQL was used in constructing the databases.

Software Engineering and Computer Science website is an on-line portal application that organizes students and instructors in a common place. This website is service oriented because it provides information and announcements that can be accessed by all users.

Through this website, it will be a big help in the part of the teachers and students for the reason that it offers faster way of communicating.
