摘要
An online reservation system is used to store and retrieve information about a product and its options for a facility and to conduct transactions for booking on it. It is a piece of software which allows a potential customer to book and pay for an activity or service through a launched website. It allows customers to book through social networks and even on their mobile phones, helping deliver bookings wherever customers happen to be, at whatever time they desire.

The proponents decided to develop a system named “Online Reservation System for the Use of University Facilities for the OVPSA” that can schedule and do reservation of facilities through the use of internet. Key features of the system will help the office attains faster and well-organized business undertakings.

Iterative and Incremental Development Model is the methodology used in this system. The team chose this methodology because it can build the system in step by step method.

This system is created to minimized problems and time that staff and clients exert in making a reservation. In reserving events, access the website of OVPSA for the easy reserve. Calendar is also provided to avoid conflicts and the events being reserved will reflect in the calendar. The client can also fast track the status of the request and the administrator can view pending reservations, view transaction status, view the event calendar and confirm the reservation.
