Jag Spare Parts management information system

Abstract

The development of this paper was primarily to provide Jag Spare Parts Company a Management Information System that will be able to give their firm an efficient and quality assured management system. The system can help their customers lessen transaction time compared to their present manual system and at the same time, will serve as an effective tool to enhance the processing and data handling that incorporates the whole process of their transactions. This system can help reduce time, money and effort that leads to customer satisfaction.

As the objectives were administered prior to the full development of the program, the accomplishment of this study was very successful and was able to deliver what was really expected of the system objectives.

In the developmental process of the system, it has been quantified that the system’s front end was to develop using Visual C#, and its back end was MySQL Server 2008. Windows 7 was used as the main operating system during the development of the system up to its implementation.

It was concluded that the system was able to meet the objectives for the development of Jag Spare Parts Management Information System, and thus, the system is capable of fulfilling its intended functionalities that would be of great benefit to the company where the study was conducted.
